Join CESA 4 as we welcome Eric P. Hartwig, Ph.D., Administrator of Pupil Services for the Marathon County Children with Disabilities Education Board and is the author and principle trainer on the Just-in-Time: Behavioral Initiative Project. Dr. Hartwig has done extensive research on discipline, school violence, psycho educational assessment and related special education issues. The “Just-In-Time” Behavior Project (JITB) is designed to help districts rethink and revamp the way they approach discipline, giving teachers practical tips they can apply right away. This project will make prevention the No. 1 priority by building a network of mentors among teachers and administrators. Just-In-time is about trying to get behind behavior, understanding what makes people and students resistant; allowing your staff to use behavior management techniques they’re comfortable with rather than insisting on a cookie-cutter discipline method.

Cost - $225.00 for non-flagship schools.

- All additional flagship registrants $125.00
CESA 4 will monitor the registration, and will notify you if your registration in FREE.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
