There is great diversity among learners in every school.  The educational community has a responsibility to provide rigorous learning opportunities for all learners. Many schools struggle to meet these needs. This group of educators work collaboratively around identification tools, program planning, classroom strategies, and resources for students with gifted/talented needs. This collaborative supports those directing the education of students whose needs extend beyond the core curriculum.

I love our group.  Meetings are always well planned out!  I always am able to take something away to use the next day.”

  • Review and update the district gifted/talented plan using the NAGC Gifted Programming Standards as a guide

  • Explore and evaluate processes for identifying the unique gifts and talents of students that are equitable for the diverse student population

  • Collaboratively network and learn together

  • Use research to guide analysis of programs, opportunities and resources connected to core curriculum for gifted/talented students

  • Educators responsible for GT program planning, identifying student needs in the areas of giftedness, and providing learning opportunities to meet identified needs of students

(Fee includes access to a LMS for networking and resource collaboration)

CESA 6 makes every effort to accommodate basic dietary needs such as vegetarian, gluten free and basic food allergies. Because of the number of meals served and the number of items used each day, along with food product changes from our food vendors, we cannot guarantee that every allergen in the food served will be identified and labeled. Guests concerned with food allergies must be aware of this risk. CESA 6 does not assume liability for adverse reactions to food consumed or items one may come into contact with while eating at a CESA 6 event. To better serve our guests with dietary restrictions or allergies, please go into your myQuickReg account and update the special accommodations section. Notice of a special dietary need must be made in advance of the event.
