PRESENTER: Mary Ann Hudziak   Director Student Success Center

This workshop is designed to provide support for paraprofessionals as they work with students, teachers, administrators and parents, and to successfully complete the training needed to meet the hiring requirements for working in a Title I Schoolwide or Targeted Assisted School.  The online coursework can be intimidating, so this workshop allows participants to begin the work in a supportive setting.  The workshop also provides an overview of each of the modules.

  • Understand their role as a paraprofessional

  • Explore their role in providing instructional supports for students in reading, writing and math

  • Increase their knowledge and skills in the areas of reading, writing and math

  • Register for and begin the Master Teacher ParaEducator PD Now! modules (completion of the modules and assessments with a passing score will meet the Title I hiring requirements for  paraprofessionals)

  • K-12 paraprofessionals

  • $115 per person (CESA 6 ESSA Consortium of Support Districts)
  • $140 per person for all other districts

(includes ParaEducator PD Now!, registration fee, online training, and materials)

Because of the number of meals served and the number of items used each day, along with food product changes from our food vendors, we cannot guarantee that every allergen in the food served will be identified and labeled. Guests concerned with food allergies must be aware of this risk. CESA 6 does not assume liability for adverse reactions to food consumed or items one may come into contact with while eating at a CESA 6 event. To better serve our guests with dietary restrictions or allergies, please go into your myQuickReg account and update the special accommodations section. Notice of a special dietary need must be made in advance of the event.
