EL TEACHER CONNECTION SERIES
Facilitator: Lori Menning I EL, Bilingual-Bicultural & World Language Consultant
The primary focus of this connection series is to provide high-quality and relevant professional development, needs assessment, and program support to school districts and teachers with culturally and linguistically diverse students.
This series provides teachers, coordinators, and other staff members working directly with ELs an opportunity to share ideas and challenges, as well as develop new approaches and solutions for working with ELs. The 2021-2022 Connection Series will focus on teaching and learning in a blended environment. Instructional strategies, resources, and updates from DPI and WIDA will be shared by leaders in the field.
OBJECTIVES:

The goal of this EL Teacher Connection Series is to meet the needs of those working directly with English Learners.
- Members of this network will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss current topics. Participants will also network and resource share with educators from throughout the region.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
- EL Teachers, Bilingual Teachers, EL Coordinators/Directors, and any staff members working with English Learners
REGISTRATION FEE:
$150 per person per day
*CESA 6 Title III Consortium Members

Cancellation Policy:
Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
