Phonics in the Classroom Virtual Book Study (Grades K-2)

Across the nation, there’s been a lot of buzz around how to best teach and support our students’ development of reading foundational skills. CESA 5 is offering two virtual book study sessions for teachers who are hoping to examine systematic and explicit phonics instruction. This opportunity will allow educators to reflect, enhance, and strengthen instructional practices in phonics and word study through dialogue and collaboration with other educators in the region.

**In order to receive the book in time for the first session of this series please register no later than May 28, 2021. The book will be delivered to your school district.

Audience: Educators Grades K-2

Registration Fee: $50 for CESA 5 School Improvement Services Members
                                $100 for Non-Members
 

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
