AUDIENCE: School District Transportation Directors, Safety/Crisis Response Directors, Superintendents, Principals, Parents, and Interested Community Organizations that are involved in Crisis Response Planning with School Districts
COST: FIVE FREE SLOTS to districts that have purchased the Bus Driver/Transportation Training package (Arcadia, La Crosse, Tomah)
All others—$30 per person

We will meet from 10:00-10:30 am, prior to our speaker, for transportation director updates. Bob Severson’s Presentation will start promptly at 10:30 am, end at 12:30 pm, and will include time following his presentation for Bob to answer questions.
Luncheon will be followed by a work time for CESA #4 school districts to meet together as a team with their individual Crisis Response/Emergency Teams for updates and planning.
Bob Severson was the Chippewa Falls School District Safety Director when the Chippewa Falls School District’s buses were involved in a tragic accident on I-94 on October 16th, 2005. Bob retired this year from this position as Safety Director in this district and will share with our school districts, “Learning Lessons from Tragedy” at CESA #4 on Friday, November 11th. Bob will share lessons learned by a district from this horrific experience. He will address how the district’s current emergency/crisis response plan has changed as a result of this occurrence and how that experience and the changes that resulted can positively affect and impact everyday bus situations in CESA #4 School Districts.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
