Optimizing Reading Foundational Instruction: First Grade

Each session is especially designed for teachers who are interested in digging deeper into their standards to understand, teach, and easily assess each component of the foundational progression.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) hosted a webinar series focused on the Reading Foundational Skills in Kindergarten through Grade 2. The following events will expand on this learning, as well as, provide opportunities to collaborate around implementation in your own district.
Audience: PreK-2 teachers, teacher teams, curriculum teams, instructional leaders, coaches, interventionists and specialists who work with PreK-2 students

Other Helpful Hints: Room temperatures vary from one workshop location to another, so bring a jacket or sweater for maximum comfort.
