Join us for a conversation about the importance of providing work-based learning programs that develop high school students' college and career readiness. We will review both Federal and State requirements for assuring compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and Wisconsin Child Labor Laws, as well as the various types of work-based learning that meet the quality indicators for Carl Perkins funding. During this workshop, we will highlight the DPI Employability Skills Program, Youth Apprenticeship, and School Supervised Work Experience.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
