This workshop will provide the opportunity for participants to dig into the 2019-2020 Federal reports (ESSA, IDEA and Progress to Exit-where applicable).  Reports this year for ESSA and IDEA will be shared again in the SAFE portal in early December. There will be no new identifications for ESSA, however there will be for IDEA. Participants will gain an understanding of the many sections of the reports with time to unpack the data provided.  The workshop will also structure networking around action steps.  Register a data team to learn more about these reports, how they connect to your district/school data and to plan next steps.

Participants will:

  • Explore the reports

  • Compare this year to last year

  • Review and analyze data

  • Plan for next steps

  • Network with other districts

Who should attend?

  • District personnel with the responsibility of communicating the meaning of the report to other stakeholders. (i.e. Title I Coordinator, Principal, Superintendent, curriculum coordinators, Special Education directors)

  • Participants must have access to the "Joint Federal Notification Packet (ESSA/IDEA)" in SAFE through WISEhome.
