Our extending learning will focus on universal instruction within an equitable multi-level system of support in grades K-2. We will align this work with Wisconsin’s standards for Reading Foundational Skills.
Audience: Literacy leaders and/or school teams serving learners in kindergarten through grade 2
Outcomes will include:

Utilizing the FRST, a self-assessment instrument built around the WI DPI’s vision of what it means to explicitly and systematically teach foundational reading skills

Instructional and assessment practice for Phonological Awareness

Instructional and assessment practices for Phonemic Awareness

Applying reading foundational skills to reading and writing
