Dr. Colleen Capper, UW-Madison School of Education Professor and Co-Director of the National Leadership for Social Justice Institute, is a renowned expert on equity issues in K-12 schools.  After 31 years in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, she has published extensively on leadership for social justice and equity and has dedicated her professional life to equity work in education.
