Are you looking to extend your virtual/blended instruction to meet the needs of varied learners?  Attend Blended Learning & UDL for Virtual/Hybrid/Face-to-Face Environments 5-Part Series.  The series comprises of three synchronous sessions and two asynchronous sessions.

Synchronous Learning Online via Zoom 4:00 - 6:00

Module 1:  Reflection and Blended Learning (October 28, 2020)

  • Engage in reflection discourse based on prior experience (using a rubric to support next steps)
  • Exposure to blended learning models and contextual application for Virtual, Hybrid, and F2F models

Module 2:  Universal Design for Learning (November 4, 2020)

  • Examine learner variability and understand the need for UDL
  • Learn about the 3 principles of UDL and applications
  • Engage in virtual UDL methodology

Module 3:  Instructional Design and Application (November 11, 2020)

  • Examine a UDL lesson and consider the 3 UDL principles and tools for support
  • Engage collaboratively in groups discussing barriers for Virtual, Hybrid, and F2F models
  • Examine authentic assessment and feedback practices

Asynchronous Learning - To be completed by November 25, 2020

Module 4:  1-hour Topic Deep Dives (Example Topics:  Specific Digital Tools, Effective Communication, Virtual Learning for Families, Building Relationships, and Virtual Ice Breakers)

  • Choose 2 topics to dig deeper to provide further knowledge for application
  • Share learning in a collaborative platform

Module 5:  Create Application Artifact

  • Create a plan for learning experiences based on content and context (may use UDL lesson format or other as long as learning is applied)
  • Share artifacts with a collaborative group
  • Receive feedback for consideration

Audience:  K-12 Teachers, Special Education Teachers, Instructional Coaches, Curriculum Directors

Cost:  $125/person for CESA 7 Learning Services Partnership Members

           $225/person for non-CESA 7 Learning Services Partnership Members
