Educators are currently confronted with a set of demands for which we have never been taught to address. These fall on the continuum of face to face teaching with social distancing requirements to total distance learning.

The Covid-19 pandemic has introduced new issues we need to be address:

  • Students refusing or unable to meet the mask requirements
  • Social distancing expectations
  • Engaging in Covid-sensitive behaviors as part of an aggressive stance (eg. spitting at someone)
  • Anxiety and/or trauma-related reactions to the situation

This workshop will explore these issues along with:

  • Discussion of more traditional Tier II & Tier III behavioral interventions
  • Applying behavioral interventions within in-school an from distance learning approaches
  • The Peer Triad model will also be discussed; this model facilitates the provision of teacher feedback

This will be an in-person training, but will move to virtual if Covid-19 conditions/protocols dictate.

Registration fee - Face-to-Face

  • $170 per participant for a team of 4 from the same school district
