Secondary Math Four-Part Series
Learning and discussions will take place around the series: Catalyzing Change...in Mathematics: Initiating Critical Conversations (NCTM) at each of the meetings. The three books in this series - Elementary, Middle School, and High School - are intended to initiate the critical conversations on policies, practices, and issues impacting mathematics education. Engaging in these critical conversations will be a valuable precursor to the release of the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics that are slated to be released in March 2021.
Meeting Agenda:
- Networking time with CESA 8 math educators
- Book Talk
- Local, state and national initiatives
- Technology integration in the math classroom
