This seminar focuses on targeted math intervention strategies that can be immediately used with your struggling students. These interventions are based on the common core standards and spotlight tier 2 interventions that will easily fit into your existing math program. Teachers can use these ideas and strategies in small group, centers or with one-on-one instruction. This seminar will give teachers practical ideas, strategies and guidelines that will help all of your students find success with the key math concepts in grade K-2.

Presenters Linda Scheuer and Lynn Fabian will
• inspire you with their energy
• encourage you with their ideas
• and guarantee you will leave with the desire to create a successful learning environment for ALL of your students!

Linda Scheuer and Lynn Fabian provide staff development for teachers across the United States.
Each of them have presented for local CESA’s, along with State and National Conventions. Other presentations have included SDE (Staff Development for Educators) and BER (Bureau of Educational Research).

Linda and Lynn are experienced teachers and energetic speakers who have many years of experience working with children at various developmental levels. As primary classroom teachers, they have found tried and true ways to expand and differentiate lessons so ALL students can be engaged and immersed in learning. Linda and Lynn will demonstrate ways to take existing lessons and activities and transform them with minimal effort, to maximize learning and increase students’ ability.

As state and national presenters, both Linda and Lynn are familiar with the new math standards. Linda has served on her district math council for the past 10 years, aligning standards to the district level, developing district goals and together with Lynn have written math curriculum and established exit criteria based on the new national standards.
