Phase 1 -Understanding

GOAL: Understand the revised shifts and standards in order to align curriculum and assessments (in phases 2 and 3)

  • Engage a broad group of stakeholders in multiple learning opportunities about shifts and standards
  • Understand how the standards are organized
  • Understand high-level differences between old and new standards
  • Follow a process for analyzing each unit within existing instructional materials to notice how materials reflect  shifts and standards
  • At the end of the year, determine revision priorities for phase 2 or create a plan to select standards-aligned high-quality instructional materials

Any registration cancellation must be received one business day prior to the event date for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitution are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
