Excellence in Teaching Program Bootcamp (Virtual)

Registration closes August 9 at midnight.

 

The workshop is designed to support teachers who will be entering their first full time teaching position in the 2020-21 school year.

Schedule:

Day #1 (Monday, August 10)

9:00 am - 11:00 am * 

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm 

*with the expectation that there will be some work to do from 11am - 1pm

Day #2 (Tuesday, August 11)

9:00 am - 11:00 am * 

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm 

*with the expectation that there will be some work to do from 11am - 1pm

Day #3 (Friday, August 14)

9:00 am - 11:00 am  

Individual Sessions:  

TBD (approximately 30-45 minute follow up discussions to be determined between ETP advisor and candidate.

• I can demonstrate understanding of content knowledge and pedagogical strategies. (WI Standard 1)
• I can design and establish a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for a diverse population of students. (WI Standard 2, 3, 5, 6)
• I can plan and deliver effective instruction to students, based on research-based pedagogical practices. (WI Standard 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7)
• I can collect and analyze student assessment data and use results to inform planning and instruction. (WI Standard 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8)
• I can demonstrate professionalism through ethical conduct, communication, and reflection. (WI Standard 9, 10)
