RISE and RISE UP are two interventions based on the lesson framework of Jan Richardson’s bestselling The Next Step Forward in Guided Reading. The lessons can be implemented by classroom teachers or specialists. Students receive intensive small-group instruction in reading, word study, comprehension, and writing. Data show students make three times the average progress in 6-8 weeks. Learn how to motivate and accelerate your struggling readers with this highly-effective, research-based program.

Each section will run approximately 90 minutes.

 Break  10:00am -10:30am

Registration: $100 per person
 Includes resources that will be mailed directly to school districts if registered by August 5, 2020. 
*CESA 5 can not guarantee arrival of resources if registered after Augsut 5, 2020.*

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Registrants receive a full refund if they cancel at least 2 weeks before the event. Because of commitments to the venue, presenters, vendors and participants, no refund of any kind, for any reason, will be given for cancellation requests received after August 5, 2020. Registrations ARE transferable within your organization. CESA 5 WILL NOT CANCEL THE EVENT DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registrants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. This policy replaces the standard CESA 5 cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
