Canceled Educator & Paraprofessional Learning Series - Maximizing Adult Support

Paraprofessionals, also referred to as paraeducators, para-pros, instructional assistants, program aides, are a critical component to supporting students who are struggling.  In this session, participants will examine the roles and responsibilities of paraprofessionals.  Improving the independence of students in social and academic settings is a critical component to an effective system of support.  We will develop a toolbox of strategies that focus on helping students become more independent and better able to navigate classroom instruction and environments across the school day.
