The seminars for 2020-21 have been completely overhauled by the DPI and have a greater emphasis on those areas where Beginning Teachers tend to require support like Educator Effectiveness, Student Engagement, and Classroom Management.

Please register separately for each New Teacher Training.

Fee for New Teacher Training:

  • Districts contracting for 2020-2021 Project #222 Educator Quality and Licensing Level 1A - Beginning Teacher Professional Learning:
    • Free to eight new teachers
    • $50 per additional contracting district new teacher

$50 for all others

Fees will be adjusted at the time of billing

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event, unless otherwise stated in the event details. CESA #4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA #4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA #4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.

Weather Conditions: If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA #4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.

Dietary Restrictions: CESA #4 will make every attempt to accommodate dietary restrictrions as noted in a user's MyQuickReg profile; however, we encourage anyone with a dietary restriction or preference to bring food items in case the event menu cannot fully accommodate. Other Helpful Hints: Room temperatures vary from one workshop location to another, so bring a jacket or sweater for maximum comfort.

Additional Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
