Join CESA 9’s Instructional Coaching Network! In its 5th year, this series is aimed at developing a professional learning community for leaders, teacher leaders, and instructional coaches.
Series Goals:
- Build capacity within the leader/teacher leader/instructional coach role
- Gather “tools” for working within a COVID environment
- Learn to lead the change for creating equitable school environments
Topics:
- Self-reflection and targeted learning using the principles of the Coaching Competency Practice Profile
- Student-Centered Coaching: Shifting the focus from “fixing” teachers to partnering with them to reach goals for student learning
- Techniques for building resilience in ourselves and others
- Maximizing the role of coaching within a school/district system
Who should attend: Instructional leaders who serve in a district or building coaching role, Reading Specialists, Literacy Coaches, Mathematics Coaches and Coordinators, and Mathematics or Literacy Grade Level Leaders (you did not need to attend previous years to join this network).
Cost: $350 ($450 for non-CESA 9 SI team members) for the (4) session series. We encourage participants to attend all network sessions, but also welcome participants choosing those dates that work best. Cost will remain the same. All recordings and materials will be made available to those registered regardless of attendance.
