Bienvenidos.  Welcome to EL Bilingual/Bicultural Education I.  This course is aligned with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Guidelines for Bilingual-Bicultural Education.  In this course we will explore the theories, best practices, and legal responsibilities when working with EL students in K-12 schools.  In addition, we will examine the teaching of bilingual children and adolescents in both bilingual (first language) classrooms, as well as, mainstream classrooms.  This course is organized into units of instruction with assigned readings, class discussions, written assignments, and oral presentations using technology.  The class assignments, projects and other artifacts are to be utilized in the teacher portfolio.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be faxed (920-492-5965) or e-mailed to the event contact person five (5) working days prior to the date of the event. We are unable to provide refunds for no shows.
