Jan Richardson will guide you through the RISE and RISE UP Frameworks to accelerate your students' reading success in grades 1-8.  RISE (levels C-N) and RISE UP (levels O-C) provide targeted, small-group instruction in reading comprehension, word study and phonics, and guided writing for ALL students. RISE builds foundational skills while RISE UP develops comprehension strategies. Students gain the confidence, proficiency, and skills they need to excel as readers and meet grade-level benchmarks. Jan will teach you the implementation, delivery, and assessment practices of the RISE and RISE UP Frameworks to be applied in a virtual or face-to-face instructional context.

Learning Program Objectives:

• Acquire the planning skills and tools to organize for and implement RISE and/or RISE UP
• Acquire the teaching skills and tools to establish routines, assess student needs and progress, and accelerate student growth

CESA 6 CANCELLATION POLICY

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days prior to the start of the series in order for a full refund to be issued. Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days prior to the series start, a refund will be issued minus $50 per participant.  No refunds will be given for persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of any session. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel an event due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
