Teacher Boost is a one-day version of Blended Learning Live! Workshop. It’s targeted for the busy classroom teachers who want to skip some of the strategy of blended learning and jump straight to practice implementation steps. Helping teachers replace traditional top down teacher led instruction with more student centered learning.
Workshop Objectives:

Teachers will experience blended learning models of delivery.

This starts with a flipped classroom model by completing 2 hours of pre-work online

Station rotation (using break out rooms) and

Flex models of blended learning with built in choice

Teachers will experience an introduction to student-centered learning.

Teachers will explore “Seven Moves to Create a Higher Performing, Happier Classroom.”

Teachers will dive into a Student Experience Project.

Teachers will learn the secrets of a successful culture.
Who: Wisconsin Virtual School (WVS) Director Michele Nickels and Associate Director Annette Walaszek, Certified Ready to Blend Facilitators, will be your trainers.
Where: Virtual using digital content as the backbone of our experience and a desktop conferencing tool where you have reliable access to a computer and internet connectivity. Participants will also need to have audio and video capabilities on their device to fully engage, actively participate and successfully complete the professional learning experience.
When: July 21st, 2020 (Please note: there will be 2 hours of pre-work you complete in a flipped classroom model anytime that fits your schedule July 16th-20th).
Time: Get Connected & Set Up your Work Space for the Day from 8:00-8:30 AM, Workshop 8:30-3:30 PM. There will be built in breaks and lunch to step away from your device.
Cost: $50.00 payable to Cesa 7, Wisconsin Digital Learning Collaborative (WDLC) is subsidizing other costs associated with this professional learning opportunity.
Minimum: 15 participants (limited to first 30 registered participants). Registration deadline July 10th
