This one-day workshop meets PI 34 guidelines for training teacher mentors and provides powerful interactive activities to prepare mentors to work with initial educators.
Topics include:

• The mentoring process
• Preparing for mentoring
• The mentor/ initial educator relationship
• Effective teaching skills (Danielson Framework for Teaching)
• Overview of PI 34: reflecting and guiding new teachers for future professional growth
• Planning for the mentoring year,

Participants will need to bring a copy of their district EE model standards with them to training.

- CESA 6, Effectiveness Project Standards

(Due to grant funding, there will be no charge for CESA 7 districts to attend this training.)
