This workshop will dig into the redesigned State Accountability Report Card. This will be an opportunity for participants to investigate any changes in calculations and layout.  We will also explore best practices for data entry and local data validation.  This year provides the opportunity to improve data practices in preparation for future report cards. The workshop format is conducive for networking with others. Bring a data team to maximize the effectiveness of this workshop.

Participants will:

  • Explore the report card features

  • Make meaning of the numbers and ratings

  • Investigate what lies behind the numbers

  • Plan for next steps

  • Network with other districts

Who should attend?

  • District and school personnel with the responsibility of communicating the meaning of report cards to other stakeholders. This may include curriculum coordinators, teacher leaders, building administrators, department leaders, or technology directors.

  • Participants should have access to the detailed version of the secure report card in SAFE.
