Even our youngest learners are on a pathway to becoming readers and writers.  This workshop offers a look at the best ways to move students forward on the literacy continuum.  We will show you how to evaluate your students' literacy skills through observation, place them on the continuum and know where to start planning instruction.  You will learn how to use the literacy continuum stages to determine strategies and plan lessons to provide timely instruction for each of your students in your classroom.  Join us to learn how to apply this tool in your developmentally appropriate classrooms.

This workshop is offered at no additional cost to those districts participating in Universal School Improvement Services and Title I Fee for Service including Bloomer, Bruce, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Neillsville, New Auburn, Owen-Withee, and Spencer.  (Discount will be automatically applied.)

The cost for all other participants will be $500 per workshop.
