ELA Standards Roll-Out

Join CESA 8 in collaboration with DPI for an introduction to the revised Wisconsin ELA Standards on August 7, 2020, from 9:00-2:30.  A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 15 minutes before start time.  

Participants in this session will use professional learning materials from Wisconsin’s DPI to interact with the state’s newly revised standards for English language arts. Goals for the learning include:

• Understand how to read and use the revised ELA standards document

• Understand revisions to the standards

The session is designed to engage educators working at any grade-level. Participants are encouraged to attend in teams, as time will be reserved for planning on-going professional learning at the school, district, and/or CESA level. Participants should have a paper copy of the standards available.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs.
