Cancelled- Investigating Common Core Standards

Deeper investigations into the Common Core State Standards. As the Common Core is rolled out, CESA 8 will once again deliver an Introductory Series on the Common Core. The following workshops will be presented:

September 28, 2011 - Investigations of High School/ Middle School English/Language Arts by Candie Lehto and Eric Larsen

Each attendee MUST bring with them a copy of the Common Core State Standards in English.
English Standards must include appendix A, B, and C.

Other Workshops in this series:

October 13 , 2011– Investigations of the Literacy Standards of the Common Core, which will be applied to all classrooms K-12 and effect every discipline of education. This workshops is for educators in any discipline.– Eric Larsen, Candie Lehto, and Chris VanHoof

Fees: $30.00 per participant per workshop. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Who should attend: Building administrators, department heads, lead teachers in the areas in language arts and mathematics, any other interested educator.
 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs.
