Time:  9:00 AM - 3:00 PM / Check-in at 8:30 AM

Session Agenda:

9:00 - 9:30 - Introductions and Background

9:30 - 10:10 - Charter schools have had a rich history of redefining the delivery of education in America’s schools, and the time is now to implement innovative measures to fully capture the resulting student outcomes and tell the rich story of innovation and success. Join us to learn more about the research-based Redefining Ready metrics that are changing the landscape of education and unlocking the potential of educators and students alike.

10:10 - 10:45 - Academic and Career Planning (ACP) is the process through which students plan their program for learning experiences in Wisconsin.  Students use ACP to both plan for and to track their learning experiences and progress toward achieving their goals as a student. This plan should be aligned to their personal, academic, social and career goals. The College and Career Framework can provide benchmark metrics for academic and career plans.

10:45 - 11:15 - Why do we have a school? What is our purpose? What are we supposed to be doing? What collective commitments have we made? Is it clear what we stand for? Your mission is your promise to students that each student will be ready for the next level of learning.

11:15 - 11:45 - Reframe family engagement to improve student outcomes.

11:45 - 1:00 - Lunch Break

1:00 - 2:00 EdCamp for Charter School Leaders

2:30 - 3:00 Wrap-Up and Closure
