This one day workshop will provide with the opportunity to review your upcoming lessons and adapt them to open the doors to your language learners. In addition to looking at universal strategies for enhancing your lessons, we will also share ways to support your classroom in welcoming newcomers to your learning environment.The learning for the day includes: reading, first and second language acquisition, culture, writing, math, integrated language and content instruction, assessment, and family involvement. 

This session is offered at no cost to those CESA 10 districts participating in Title III, including Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Cornell, Eau Claire, Eleva-Strum, Fall Creek, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Medford, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, Stanley-Boyd, and Thorp.

The cost for all other participants will be $500 per workshop.
