Join area paraprofessionals from the CESA region to learn more around topics that impact the work that you engage in daily.  A keynote speaker will “kick-off” this event talking about the role of trauma and how to develop compassion resilience to support you in the workplace. 

Sectionals for smaller groups will then follow and include topics around:

Paraprofessional Roles & Supports

De-escalation of students through CPI strategies

Using Ross Greene’s strategies 

Thinking in the school and/or Accommodations/Modifications as you support students.

 

Registration Cost: $50 per participant (includes lunch & materials).

This would be payable to the CESA your school district is in. Districts can be invoiced as well.

Please note that this event is in Wausau, at the Westwood Conference Center.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met.
