This workshop will focus on Local Education Agencies (LEAs) planning and working with private schools with regard to Title funding. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the Wisconsin ESSA Ombudsman are collaborating with CESA 6 for this workshop. This workshop provides an opportunity for communication and collaboration between private school administrators and public school ESSA (Title) teams.

Participants will:

  • Receive guidance on procedures and timelines for complying with Title I law.
  • Receive sample electronic documents to use or adapt for data collection and/or reporting.
  • Collaborate. This is an opportunity for private and public school administrators to communicate.
  • Use this workshop as a consultation meeting between an LEA and the private school administration when attending together.

Who should attend?

District personnel with the responsibility of Title programming, budgets, and instruction (i.e. Title I Coordinator, Principal, Superintendent, lead Title I teacher, Reading Specialist, RtI Coordinator) AND Private School administrators that work with districts regarding Title funding. It is highly recommended that LEAs attend with Private School partners.
