Description:

Looking for new electronic tools to use with your students during the writing process?!?
This workshop will provide you with a variety of electronic tools, web based and FREE, that you could use with your students throughout the whole writing process.

In this workshop you will:
• Explore how various Web 2.0 tools can be used during the writing process
• Explore online tools such as Google Docs, Blogs, Wikis, citation makers, dictionaries & thesaurus, and discussion forums
• See various electronic publishing ideas (video, podcasting, web page, etc…)
 

**Please plan on bringing along a portable computer with wireless Internet capability.**

CESA 5 registration fee: $ 60
** Registration fees waived for educators who register by November 23rd from full-service ITSS districts: Adams-Friendship, Columbus, Montello, New Lisbon, Pardeeville, Portage, Poynette, Randolph, Rio, Rosholt, Sauk Prairie, `Wisconsin Dells.
Registration deadline is Monday November 30th.  Please submit purchase order or check to Janet Gaber, CESA 5, P.O.Box 564, Portage, WI 53901, within two weeks of registering for the class. Lunch is included. Please contact Janet with any dietary concerns. Thank you!

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
