In this course, you will gain an understanding of the Wisconsin CTE Standards and how to implement them in the classroom.  You will take an in-depth look at Domain 4 of Danielson's Framework of teaching and will walk away with the tools and strategies necessary to score Proficient and Distinguished in all components, improving your instruction and your students' learning.  You will learn about the value of professionalism and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and how they assist you in reflecting on your teaching practices and sharing ideas and expertise, while work collaboratively to improve teaching skills and academic performance.  You will learn to take care of yourself while teaching, as well as how physical and digital space influence our students and how you can design your teaching space with intention and to best meet the needs of all of your students.  Students need to be able to transition into college or the workforce upon leaving high school, therefore you will learn how to assist them in doing so, as well as how to provide them with beneficial assignments and assessments in the classroom.  You be able to create effective presentations to provide your students which teaching them utilizing different teaching methods across the curriculum.
