Do not travel to CESA #4.  This is an online event.

Clear up misconceptions about what is and is not standards-based assessment and grading. Join Rick to explore what it means to be truly evidence-based in assessing and reporting your students’ achievements as related to standards and learner outcomes. In this introductory session, he addresses the biggest concerns in grading today: Averaging, zeroes on the 100-point scale, re-do’s, percentages, grading scales, late work, valedictorian, marking homework, and grade book and report card design. You'll also look at formative vs summative assessments, reporting behavior/effort/character elements, disaggregation, and much more.

Rick will also be weaving infromation in on how to grade in on-line settings.

Event cost is $175 per person which includes a copy of Fair Isn't Always Equal (2nd edition).  Pre-registration and pre-cancellation (if unable to attend) are required through myQuickReg.  Cancellation or substitution is required to avoid charges for the full amount.

Cancellation Deadline:  Wednesday, May 13th
