This session is intended for educators who are already familiar with Xello and are looking to take their implementation to the next level.

Please Note: This session will not include an introduction to Xello and is not meant for educators who are new to Xello. Should educators who are newer to Xello wish to attend, they can take advantage of the resources on help.xello.world to familiarize themselves with Xello prior to the session.

Session Requirements:

  • Every participant will need a Xello educator account
  • Every participant will need access to a computer with Internet in the session
  • Student data integration should be completed before the training session

Topic Description
Welcome Introduction & session overview
Xello Lessons & Assignments Dig into Xello lessons and create customized lessons and/or assignments for students. Time will be provided for participants to share custom lessons/assignments.
Using Xello Tools to Work Smarter Let's talk about how Xello tools can be used to make your ACP work easier. Participants will complete tasks using Xello reporting tools.
Support & Resources Have you taken a look at Xello Support? Get to know the resources available to support educators using Xello.
Xello Best Practices

Share Xello best practices in your school:

  • What does Xello implementation look like in your school?
  • How/when do students engage in the Xello activities?

Participants will share best practices in round table format with other participants focusing on grades 6-8 and 9-12

Using Course Planner Quick dive into Xello's course planning tools: how Course Planner works, custom and specialized diplomas, and view and modifying students course plans.
Using Xello to send college documents Quick look at Xello's support for sending electronic transcripts and letters of recommendation.
What's New in 2020 Get a preview of some upcoming additions to Xello

Registration Fee: $24 (cover the cost of breaks and lunch)

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:

If a workshop has been canceled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. Please make sure all your contact information is correct on myQuickReg.com
