This training is for both new and continuing Kurzweil users.
Kurzweil training: ATR will share information about Universal Design for Learning and how to achieve UDL using existing and new technology tools. They will focus on the use of Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Version 4 as a testing accommodation to help your district provide accommodations to students needing text to speech assistance, and we will demonstrate several new functions found on the Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Version 4 to help ELL/ESL students as well as the new features in the web based license. The training will start with a review of how to get started. The rest of the afternoon will go over Reading tools, study skills, test taking, scanning basics, writing supports, online resources, editing and then training of the newer features of Macintosh Version 4. Participants may bring their own MAC laptops however some will be available upon request with Demo CDs to download for the training session.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:
