The Asbestos Refresher course is designed for people who encounter and/or disturb asbestos while conducting maintenance-related activities during the course of their work. The following asbestos-related topics will be covered during the training session:

History of asbestos
Health effects of exposure
Personal protective equipment use
How to recognize deteriorated asbestos

This mandatory training is required to meet the OSHA asbestos regulations adopted by Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and must be taken on an annual basis.

Refreshments and lunch are included in the cost.
