Universal Design for Learning recognizing that all people learn differently, UDL creates opportunities for each and every learner to learn. UDL is not another thing, it is a way of thinking. These session will give you the background knowledge on Universal Design for Learning, as well as, help you learn to design lessons by removing barriers for your students. The ultimate goal of our classrooms is to create expert learners, using UDL guidelines and reflective thinking.  We can design our lessons to put students in-control of their learning. These sessions are designed, to help you design, implement, reflect, and design new lessons that meet the needs of all learners. 

Learning Outcomes will be:

  • Participants will gain understanding of the Universal Design for Learning guidelines.
  • Participants will learn strategies and practices that can help remove barriers to learning.
  • Participants will use reflective practice to design lessons using UDL thinking.
  • Participants will be able to collaborate and learn for other participants.

If it is not possible for you to secure payment from your school district prior to the workshop, we suggest that you pay personally and request reimbursement from your school district. Receipts will be available. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be faxed (920-492-5965) or e-mailed five (5) working days prior to the date of the event. We are unable to provide refunds for no shows.
