Description:

So, you know preschool inclusion is important and results in positive outcomes for students, but what should it look like in daily practice? Do you want to provide more inclusive opportunities for students but just don’t know where to start? Do you currently provide services in an inclusive setting but want to examine your practices and service delivery? If so, this workshop is for you.

This full day workshop for early childhood teams will explore:

  • IEP development that leads to more inclusive services,
  • Determining service delivery options based on student’s needs,
  • Identifying roles and responsibilities of inclusive team members,
  • The use of quality universal instructional strategies,
  • Designing and delivering specially designed instruction, and
  • Effective strategies for collaboration.

The focus of the day will be working as a team to provide high quality inclusive services in your program. Participants will also be given opportunities to collaborate with other colleagues regarding how to best implement inclusive services into their own program.

Attendance as a team is recommended but not required.

Cost: No Cost, lunch included
