ISTE Certification is a competency-based, vendor-neutral teacher certification based on the ISTE Standards for Educators. It recognizes educators who use edtech for learning in meaningful and transformative ways.

Focused on pedagogy. Based on the ISTE Standards.

ISTE is focused on pedagogy, not tools. It’s not about edtech per se, it’s about what you do with the tech to transform learning and improve student outcomes.

Through the ISTE Certification process, teachers will participate in professional learning based on the ISTE Standards and transformative pedagogy. After completing the training, participants have six months to apply their learning and compile artifacts and reflections into a competency-based portfolio to earn ISTE Certification.

This is a 2-day face-to-face workshop, 10-week online modules, portfolio submissions with artifacts that exemplify your knowledge of the ISTE standards.

Note: If you are a nursing mother, please be sure to include that in the notes of your registration. We have a private room available for nursing mothers, which must be reserved. The key can be obtained from Emily at the front desk when you arrive.

It's that time of the year where the unpredictable weather outdoors makes our training rooms either too cold or too warm. Training room temperatures are controlled offsite and often take time before the adjustment is noticed. We suggest bringing a sweater, wearing close-toed shoes and/or dressing in layers to assure you are as comfortable as possible while at our facility.
