2020 Engineering Machine Design Contest

WHO: Teams of 6th-12th Grade Students, Junior Division Grades 6-8, Senior Division Grades 9-12
WHAT: Design and build a complex machine using simple, everyday objects.
MISSION: The machine theme is Space Exploration!
CONTEST: Teams of 3-10 will be scored on Team Journal, Team Presentation, and Machine Design and Operation 

For the FIRST TIME EVER teams are invited to CESA 10 to participate in the preliminaries for the Minnesota State Engineering Center for Excellence ENGINEERING MACHINE DESIGN CONTEST! Teams from middle and high schools are invited to participate. If you are interested in coaching a team, register today and we will send you all the support materials you need to get started. You do not have to have your team assembled to register, just let us know your intention and we will follow up with you throughout the year. Schools and coaches are welcome to enter more than one team.

Successful teams will be invited to participate in the Finals at Minnesota State on March 20, 2020.

This workshop is offered at no cost to those districts participating in LS2, including Abbotsford, Altoona, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Regis Catholic Schools.  (Discount will be automatically applied.)

The cost for all others is $500 per team.
