National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Workshop for Technology Education Instructors

At this workshop presented by College & Career Readiness (LS2), CVTC faculty will share the Measurement Materials and Safety curriculum from NIMS to create possible alignment with your high school curriculum.  Students earning NIMS certifications graduate with industry credentials and allow school districts to apply for CTE Incentive Grant funding from DPI. Educators will learn the specific requirements for NIMS so they can prepare students to take the certification exams.

Please bring a laptop to this workshop.

This workshop is offered at no cost to those districts participating in LS2, including Abbotsford, Altoona, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Regis Catholic Schools.  (Discount will be automatically applied.)
