Presenters: Diane Jensen, Robin Rivas, Mary Jo Ziegler

Description: This three day series will integrate Literacy strategies and practices that support diverse learners in a workshop model. Participants will collaborate around the Wisconsin State Standards for English Language Arts and consider how to equitably meet the needs of all students including English learners and students with IEP’s. Incorporating the Universal Design Framework, educators will learn and apply strategies to K-10 Literacy instruction. Each session will be an opportunity to reflect on current practice, analyze formative data, and consider next step possibilities for equitable continuous improvement of effective Literacy Instruction.

Cost: $450

About the Presenters:

Diane Jensen has over 30 years of teaching experience as a middle and high school special education teacher, instructional coach, and most recently as a 5th grade general education teacher.
