CESA 12 will be offering a workshop to assist districts with the incorporation of CTEERS data into WISEdata.

As you are aware, beginning with the 2018-2019 school year, CTEERS is no longer a separate district report submitted to the DPI, but rather a report, which DPI will pull directly from a districts Student Information System (SIS). This transition must be completed prior to December 10, 2019.

This change in format, will require districts to appropriately code all of the CTEERS components, including Career and Technical Education classes, AP classes, Articulated classes and Dual Credit classes.

Why It Matters: Importantly, the data submitted through Roster will be publicly reported in new and different ways. Notably, Accountability Report Cards will include both CTEERS and CCR data.  These data are required by state law for all districts and relevant grades.

To assist the districts this workshop will cover:

  1. CTEERS data components
  2. Rostering Codes
  3. Post-Secondary Codes
  4. Work Based Learning Codes
  5. CTE Concentrator Codes

Please bring a laptop, so that you will be able to access your District's SIS as we review these components. Each team member should also have access to and be able to log into the WISEdata portal.

The DPI recommended in the Fall of 2018, that each District establish a team to complete this endeavor, and District TEAMS are encouraged to attend this workshop.
