CESA 5 Book Study: The Art of Conferring

Are you looking to strengthen your reading and writing conferring practices?
In this CESA 5 book study event series, participants will investigate and discuss
best conferring practices.
Topics include: planning and managing conferring, goal-setting, conferring moves, and more!
Join us for this unique opportunity to further your professional practice and network with
others in this blended learning format.


This book club series includes one face-to-face kick-off session on October 24, 2019 and three additional online meetings to be scheduled in December, February, and April (specific dates and time TBD by participants).

Copies of A Teacher's Guide to Writing Conferences (Carl Anderson) and A Teacher's Guide to Reading Conferences (Jennifer Serravallo) will be provided to registered participants.

                  


Registration Fee: $100 for School Improvement Services Members
                            $175 for Non-Members


 

 

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
