Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) The cornerstone of CPI since 1980, this program is considered the global standard for crisis prevention and intervention training. With a core philosophy of providing for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program's proven strategies give human service providers and educators the skills to safely respond to various levels of risk behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.
CPI/NVCI training (ABRIDGED) (7.5 hours)
Staff must attend the entire course, no exceptions.
Participants must commit to arriving on time.
Certified Trainer: Erikke Nystrom-Grothaus, Certified CPI Trainer, CESA 5
Training Location: Princeton School District 604 Old Green Lake Road, Princeton, WI
Cost: $100 per person, includes Official CPI training materials
*Lunch is on your own, please bring a sack lunch, so that we use only 1/2 hr for lunch and stay on track for finishing up on time.*
*Participants should wear comfortable clothing for this training that provides full coverage and allows for ease of movement. It is essential that shoes be flat with closed toes, closed heels, and non-skid soles.
Due to licensing requirements this training is open only to School Districts with existing contracts with CESA 5.
