Are you interested in creating a makerspace in your classroom or media center, but don't know what to put in it?  Have you had a makerspace for a while that could use a refresh?  Come spend the day creating maker kits for your space that you can implement right away with little or no prep.  We will also explore some great items available for check out from the CESA 10 IMC for participating IMC members that will breath new life and excitement into your space.  

Learning outcomes will include:

1) Participants will create maker kits that can be taken back to school to be used in their classroom or school maker space.

2) Participants will explore several kits that may be checked out from the CESA 10 IMC that are appropriate for a maker space. 

3) Participants will discuss best practices for implementing maker activities in the classroom or media center.

 

This workshop is offered at no cost to those districts participating in LS2, including Abbotsford, Altoona, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Regis Catholic Schools.  (Discount will be automatically applied.)

The cost for all other CESA 10 districts will be $500 per participant.
