CESA 7 Math Network

CESA 7 is creating a new math network.  The intent of this group is to share ideas across districts in order to improve math instruction for all students.  During this three session series, participants of this network will share ideas related to teaching and learning mathematics, learn strategies to support math discussions back at their own district sites, learn about the current state and national initiatives focused on mathematics and brainstorm ideas to support math across the CESA 7 region.

Learning Outcomes:

1.     Participants will network and share ideas with other CESA 7 math educators.

2.     Participants will participate in a book study (book purchase is not part of registration fee. Registrants must purchase on their own prior to first session.)

              5 Practices for Orchestrating Productive Mathematics Discussion Second Ed by Margaret Smith and Kay Stein

3.     Participants will be exposed to and discuss local, state, and national initiatives.

No cost for CESA 7 2019-20 Full Learning Services Partnership Members

$35 per participant per session for CESA 2019-20 Limited Learning Services Partnership Members

$70 per participant per session for CESA 7 Non-member Learning Services Districts as well as all Non-CESA 7 districts
